Heroes
Mythological heroes:
Achilles:
.
Achilles was born n Fthia as the son of Peleus, the king of Fthia, and the sea goddess Thetis. Achilles was passionate and very brave but was very easily made angry and was inclined to be stubborn about his decisions. During the Trojan war, Agamemnon said that Achilles was best described as a soldier who fights simply for the sport of it. The main strength of Achilles was that his mother had attempted to make him immortal by holding him in the river Styx this made him invulnerable. But his mother forgot to dip in his heel as well so he was kept mortal in that one spot, the problem was that this was the reason of his death, by a poisoned arrow that caused him to die of poisoning.

World creation
Various mythological stories about the worlds creation:
Greeks:
according to the Greeks the world was originally just chaos and from that came Erebus the placve where death reigns and night. Everything else was pure void.
Then, love was born creating the force of order. Love made light and day, and once there was created.as soon as light and day were created Gaea (the earth) appeared.
Then Erebus slept with the night and made the heavens light and the days night. Then night on its own made Doom, fate, Death, sleep, Dreams, nemesis and others.
Then Gaea gave birth to Uranus the heavens and Uranus became the shell of Gaea and also her mate. they made the three Cyclopes, the three Hecatoncheires and twelve titans. but Uranus was terrible and cruel to his wife and children. He locked the Hecatoncheires in the hidden spots of the earth in Gaea's womb.
this annoyed gaea and she plotted to take care of him. She made a flint sickle and attempted to get her children to attack Uranus. All were terrified of doing so except for Cronus, the youngest of the titans.

Norse:
Before there was soil or the sky or any living thing, there was only the gaping abyss of Ginnungagap. This chaos of perfect silence and shadow was between the home of fire Muspelheim and the home of frost Niflheim.
frost and fire came closer and closer to each other until they met in ginnungagap. within the hissing and bubbling the fire melted the ice and the melted ice became ymir the first of the giants. ymir was a hermaphrodite and was able to reproduce asexually. When he sweated, more giants were born. while the frost melted more, a cow Audhumbla, emerged from the ice. she provided food for ymir and began to lick at more of the ice.
while doing this she uncovered Buri the first of the Aesir tribe. Buri had a son named Bor who married Bestla, the daughter of the giant Bolthorn. the half god half giant children were Odin (who became chief of the gods) and his brothers Vili and Ve
